I need to change the speedo gears in my 200R4 for all the typical reasons. I've done this in a TH350 with the removable housing but I notice that this is a 1 piece body. How do you change these? Is it difficult?

Thanks, Ed

What rear gear ratio and tires size do you have?

You have to remove the pan to access the drive gear. It's held in by the governor cover, 4 13mm bolts in the rear of the trans.
It's not too difficult to do. Might as well install a new filter while you are there.

I have new and used 2004-R speedo gears if you need them.

Jake, sorry I didn't respond sooner. OK, so its not so bad to change. I have 2 transmissions and 1 needs a 27 and the other a 30 based on an online calculator I found at bowtie overdrives. Here are the details:

275/40/R17 with 3.73 - needs 10, 30
235/60/R15 with 3.42 - needs 10, 27

How can I contact you to get prices on the gears?
