Do any of you know if someone makes a tall version of the original 1964-65 chevrolet scripted valve covers? i could of swore that i had seen them in the back of a chevy hi performance magazine a couple years back, and if not has anyone attempted to body work with bondo on valve covers? If i can't fing those already tall valve covers i think i am going to make my own by cutting and welding on the origianals, my metal finishing skills are pretty good, but am alittle concerned about using a skim coat of body on hot engine parts? Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks

I seem to remember seeing valve cover spacers in the past. Usually aluminum of some thickness cut to match head/valve covers. Requires two valve cover gaskets.
