I went with 15" chrome rally wheels and having second thoughts. I really cant see scraping them. I would like to scuff them paint grey, install trim rings and center caps. Has anyone done this? will the trim rings fit?

I wouldnt.. take a look at my car. I love them! I saw a 70 SS 396 velle at a car show with them, I never knew what the big deal was with them untill then. After that I had to have them

FWIW I guess you could scuff them and paint them. I have painted a few chrome things the same way; just make sure that you get most of the chrome down in the cracks or it will try to peel. The trim rings should work but I'm not sure.
