: What gives with my tires?

I just had my alignment done and tires balanced this weekend. The tires were pretty bad and needed about an ounce each. I’ve only driven about 400 miles on them and they need to be balanced again! The weights haven’t fallen off, the wheels and tires I bought in September only have a couple thousand miles, and the shocks, springs, and ball joints are all brand new. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?
Thanks.

One ounce is not bad. I work at discount tire, and i would say that the average on most cars is between .50-1.25 oz. inside and out on the wheel. You have nothing to worry about there.

Are you absolutly positive they are out of balance again? If you're getting a vibe, it could be a different drivetrain part maybe.

Thanks Matt
I've thought the same thing myself...I've been chasing a vibration for a while. In the last few months I've done a front disc conversion and replaced all ball joints, the outer ties rods, shocks and springs. I've also had the TH350 rebuilt, the driveshaft rebalanced and replaced a broken motor mount. I've still got a slight engine vibration but not enough to cause what I'm feeling.

What kills me is that for the first 300 or so miles the car was running great...I'm starting to run out of ideas.
