Is there any way to tell the width of a rim with the tire mounted? I REALLY don't want to have the tire busted loose just to measure my rim. Thanks.

Richss396 Jan 20th, 02, 2:14 PM No way to accurately do it on the car as the brakes are usually in the way. Just remove the tire and get a friend, wife, etc. to hold straight edges from the inner and outer rim/tire bead and measure the rim width with a tap through the center or spoke area.
