I have the optional 5 spoke wheels on my '72, and I need to know what color code paint was used. I've been tossing around having the wheels blasted and powder coat them hi-gloss black, to go with the car color, or find out what the paint code is and leave then stock looking.
Anyone have a clue? They look to be a green-gold mix. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Tony
I don't have access to the code books here at work but I will try to get to the codes as soon as I can. I know I posted this info a long time ago but I'm not sure if that info is still around here or not....

I had the same wheel powder coated dark argent and they still look good after nearly five years.

I have a formula for dark charcoal gray in poly urethane around here somewhere. Email me at macalarm@aol.com & I will look for it. If not you can buy correct gray paint in an aerosol can from ground up restorations for $8.95 per can. Their toll free # is (866) 358-2277 Jim
