I am currently working on a 67 chevelle that I just converted to front disk brakes from a 71 chevelle. I am currently looking for a master cylinder to do the job.Last week I looked at the master cylinder in my neighbor's 86 Fiero GT. I liked what I saw; The reservoir sits level as in the 67 & the booster is about 8 or 9 inches in diameter which should clear BB valve covers no problem.I am just wondering if this MC would have a big enough bore for this application & if the reservoir would have enough capacity.

I may be wrong, but check the Fiero again for 4-wheel disc brakes. My wife's '88 had 'em. If they are disc/disc they won't work for you.

Thank for the reply. You are right the Fiero is a disk front & back set up.but why is it that this mc would not work on a disk drum set up.

if the bore is big enough it should work with a disc/drum setup, as i'm sure the rear discs on a fiero don't take too much fluid volume to work. if nothing else, an adjustable prop valve could be used on the rears.
