I have a '70 Chevelle for which I have ordered a 500 hp non-emissions 454 engine. I was wondering the best way to run the gas tank vent line, i.e. where to end it, and how to keep gasoline odors from occurring if I have no charcoal canister, etc.?
Thanks for any info

Tim, I've seen earlier Chevelles ( without a vented gas cap) run a mini "still" looking affair that fed a line up to the trunk, had a couple of loop de loops and ran back out. This was to keep fuel from running out. I simply ran a fuel line back around the tank, put a wire mesh end on it from a screen repair kit and secured it to my tank inlet which is directly in the high center rear. Works mint and no more fuel smell in the cabin.
