Hey guys, does anyone know what bore size would be sufficient for a 4 wheel manual drum brake setup on a '71 malibu? OR maybe just an autozone/advance auto part number so I can give it to the yahoos that work there? Thanks!

Try inputing the car into the Parts America site. I think it will accept a 71. It should give you a Cardone (sp) number that may help.

Thanks John graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I'm looking at the Wilwood master cylinders they have in the Jegs catalog. They have a 3/4, 7/8, and 1" bore size. Which would be best for 4 wheel manual drums? I'm guessing 3/4?

I have a 4 wheel drum MC that I took off of my 69 last month, I dont think there is anything wrong with it. If you want it, pay the shipping and you can have it. Or if you want a new one I can measure mine too see what the bore size is.
