How do I know when the straps for the fuel tank are tight enough? I just installed a new one, everything seems good........................I would just hate for this thing to go "Hindenberg" while driving.

Actually a pretty good question. I looked in the assembly manual and it says to tighten them to 80-120 LBS IN torque. That would be 7-10 Lbs-ft if you do not have an inch-pound wrench. Is suspect that most people (like me) just wing it.
