When I got my 72 someone at some point put headers on it. I put a Flowmaster exhaust system on it. On that I am restoring the car I am going back with stock manifolds. I want to use the Flowmaster system but need to change the pipes from the manifolds to the mufflers. Will stock pipes work with them? Any ideas as to where I can buy stock exhaust pipes? I guess I could take it to a muffler shop and have them make me some pipes. Is this my only option?

Obviously just my opinion but...
I think you are at some risk to buy OE headpipes and expect that they will mate correctly to a Flowmaster system. Unless originality is your objective (which I doubt cause you want to use the FM), I'd use the local muffler shop to build the replacement headpipe. It shouldn't be that expensive.
Good luck.

Pypes exhaust has the two downpipes from manifold to whatever else you're using. See http://www.pypesexhaust.com/downpipes.html for description. They claim they fit a myriad of applications with a single part number. Maybe but it might be worth a shot. I'm doing the same thing on my 67 El Camino - going from headers back to stock exhaust but I'm using the Pypes 'X-Change' system (http://www.pypesexhaust.com/xchange.html) and the downpipes.
Doing prep work in my driveway I cut the old headers off with a reciprocating saw and an in the process of getting the stock alternator and power steering brackets aligned before doing the exhaust. Since, at least on a 67, headers caused the previous owner to have to fabricate the alternator & power steering brackets and braces I had to find stock parts to convert it back.
I haven't installed the Pypes system as of yet but their downpipes are available from several suppliers. I happen to get mine from Summit ($119.95 - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PYE-DGU14S/) as well as the rest of the Pypes exhaust from them since Summit was a couple of hundred dollars less on the system than it same thing was on from Pypes directly.
