I recently installed the Metco uppers. I already had SSM bars for the lowers.
Haven't had it out yet (still sitting on jack stands). Quality looks real nice. I had Edelbrock non-adjustables uppers on before that were difficult to install graemlins/angry.gif (bolt holes would not line up). The Metco's were a breeze to install. graemlins/hurray.gif No problems.
After I get everything back together, I'll check the pinion angle to see if any adjustment is needed and maybe add a liitle pre-load to the right side.

Thanks for the feedback , I was considering the Edelbrocks and no -hops but since this a street car more than strip car did not want any clearnce issues and to me the Metco lowers with ICM brackets should accomplish the same thing as the no-hops... glad to hear the quality is good ...will place order tommorrow
Thanks for replying

I purchased both adjustable uppers & lower from Metco. I haven't dropped the car of off the jackstands either. I decided to do the front brake conversion since the Ohio weather is keeping me in. Anyways let me know what you think.

I was considering the new Edelbrock adjustables but they did not look nearly as "beefy" as the Metco's. I heard good things about the Metco's and I think that Racer1320 uses(or used) them.

I put Metco upper and lowers on my 65 Chevelle 2 years ago. I ran 2 power tours about 1000 miles each with no problems.the install is a breeze and they certainly look cool. I have a pretty stout aluminum headed solid roller 468 4spd 3.73 geared car, and I have NO WHEELHOP now. the 17" wheels kind of kill the traction though. good luck.
