I got this car with no drive train and nose off.

Finding things here and there - but right now I need to get the Powerglide Column setup linkage going.

Any pics or details anyone can share?

I have some strange looking brackets on the firewall but again, not sure what is right or wrong.

I'm also finding out that they don't use a detent cable but rather a lever setup?

That sound right?

Again - a little in the dark.

The 283 and PG will be getting mated soon - so my hope/goal is to get everything into the chassis with exhaust and fuel/brake lines before putting the body back on.

Thanks everyone

Powerglides have mechanical linkage.
There is a bell crank that bolts to the bell housing behind the driver's side head. The top arm connects to the bottom of the carburetor lever. The lower arm connects to the Powerglide.

Both are from the same seller. Maybe you could work a deal with him to get everything you need.
