I have purchased the remains of a '69 396 SS. I will get pics up next weekend after I drag it home. No drive train, doghouse, interior for the most part, rear end, front brake assemblies. What I see as having value is the SS hood, SS emblems on the door panels, 396SS emblem from the grill, 396SS trim on the dash, glass and maybe some of the remaining sheet metal. Not too sure about the doors as far as condition. I found one bucket laying in a pick up bed next to the car. Hopefully I can find the other one. The console is laying loose in the floor board. I gave $200 for it. Any of this stuff have any value? I figure the scrap weight (not that I'm going to scrap it) is worth that. Thanks in advance.

Does it still have the steering shaft? Any of the F41?

The steering shaft is gone. What does the F41 consist of?

A fair set of bucket cores worth 250 to 450 depending on shape and a factory console should bring 200 or more depending shape. I'd say you've done well.

Did the title go with the pile??? :)

It would appear as though someone took all the SS specific stuff with exception of what is mentioned above. There is a 10 bolt laying next to the car. I would assume this came from the car the good parts went to. There is a non tach dash cluster laying in the car also. Once again the tach dash probably went to the other car. It looks as if all the stuff left is either available as repop or they didn't need. Also, I only found one bucket seat not two. Again this may have came from the other car. Not sure if one bucket is worth much. I know a guy that wants the tub for the roof. A tree fell on his car. If you were going to sale this as one pile to the next guy, how much would ask?

Not all SS396 cars had gauges/tachs. Could be the original cluster. An OEM ss396 hood usually is double the price of a Repro hood. As easy sale I bet you could ask $600. If it had a title I would make it a roller and try to make more appealing to be rebuilt and not parted. BTW The dash emblem metal section is not reproduced just the insert......

Would be very rare if it had any F41 parts on it,most likely F40
