This 71 chevelle I've been working on since x-mas is finally taking shape electrically :) Thanks to alot of reading here! When I got it, the dash lights, heater/ blower, dome and courtesy, backup and console lights and gas guage didn't work.

Things I learned....

1) How to remove and replace the heater core and blower motor....not much fun there!

2) How to remove the dash pad and dash to clean all the grounds, replace headlight switch and bulbs.

3) How much fun it is to drop a 40 year old gas tank and replace the sender unit...

4) Finding out the console needing some harnesses, neutral safety switch and backup light pigtails to get the backup lights to work. I never knew that the back of the console had a light in it! The factory assembly manual was a lifesaver.

5)Learning to read the wiring schematic....very cool and helpful!!

It's so cool to have all the lights working and dimming as the were intended...lots of great help here.

Now the last thing is to get the horn and washer pump going. But suspension is next on the list.
