: Where do the insulator rings go? Cecil Mar 11th, 05, 1:20 PM When I bought my front coils from NPD, I also bought a pair of what they call "Rear coil spring insulators" (page 41 in their catalog) - do they go on top or bottom of the springs, what are they for, do I need them, etc.? They insulate between the spring and the frame so you don't have annoying metal-to-metal squeeking as the springs compress and relax.
