I am gonna put a BBC (468) in it this summer, I was wondering what things were gonna need changed ? (motor mounts, heater box etc) I'm would like to track down the parts before I start the swap. Thanks for the help, Dan fasteddies68 Mar 19th, 10, 2:12 PM I have made several swaps like you intend to do. Mounts, heater box, and all else will clear. You will only need to change to a larger radiator ( as large as you can get) a compatable flywheel, and exhaust. Bell housing will mate up. I also had to get new crank and waterpump pulleys, as well as bb power steering bracket and alternator brackets, also balancer, and flywheel. I also needed a bb accelerator cable and holley cable bracket. I also used 3|8 fuel line. If you have a ac car you may need compressor brackets as well. On 1968-up Chevelle 350 & BB used the same frame stand and motor mount (same-same). 307s were the odd ball that used a different frame stand and motor mount....So, as long as you match the motor mount to the frame stand you are good to go with any SB or BB. Also, you'll need a Chevelle specific oil pan............. If you have 307 stuff Throw it out! and get 350 mounts and pods, I get to go back and do mine now, since I didn't know, so I can't run a radiator fan shroud til its fixed. Rad fan sits way to high.
