i just got a new 1 5/16 sway bar kit from performance suspension. Heres the link www.performancesuspension.com/main.htm (http://www.performancesuspension.com/main.htm)

i went to install it and first the U braket holes were out of wack so i had to grind them about 1/16th of an inch on each side. Then once i got it on the passenger side tie rod sleve rubs the sway bar. The hardware on the tie rod sleve faces up so i could most likely turn it about 1/4 turn and get it out of the way but im still not 100% sure that would clear it all the way. It only rubs if i turn sharp rights. The guy on the phone told me that everything would fit great of course and install easy. (yeah right)

Has anyone else ordered from these guys or had this problem.??

If i did rotate this sleeve about 1/4 turn do you think it would throw my alignment way off??

I got the same front bar(Hellwig) & had the same problems All I had to do is loosen the clamps for the tie rods and give em a little twisting.
I didn't have the problems with the brackets though

cool i havent twisted the clamps yet but i will in a day or so. I have been so busy lately i have just been doing one little thing at a time. So how do you like the sway bar? Big improvement over stock ??

Never bought there bar but lots of other suspension parts from there (they are local) there customer service is terrible but the only place i can go locally and *SEE* what i need.

I like the way the bar makes the Z Meano handle Still have to do the rear.
Yea Cust serv is a little stand-off-ish. I like not paying the shipping on large Items though. I often find you can find better deals even with shipping at other sources though
