Hello Everyone!

Got my frame back from the blasters, and want to do my brake conversion now. There are 2 sets of spindles on ebay right now. One states will fit on 67-9 Camaro, the other for 70 and up. Will either of these bolt to my 67, so I can just go to the parts sore for new calipers, rotors, etc.? The local boneyards want 100 and up EACH. Please help. Auction ends tomorrow. Thanks, Rich

Skip down to the forum below that says Disc Brake Conversions. There's all the answers you need in there. Your junkyards are way on the high side. Spindles can be found for less than that.

I'm assuming for your question that the car is a drum brake car? Have you thought about just 'fixing' your drum spindles to be disk spindles? You can read all kinds of info here: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/David_Pozzi/brakes.htm#Converting_Drums_to_Discs

But pay particular attention to the section on the differences between the drum and disk spindles... Not much to do! Then all you need is a set of the caliper brackets and everything else is just a trip to the local parts store away!

Good luck,
