I have been looking for sometime for a chevelle I found one local the owner sent me some pictures of the car and the car is truely rest free but there is not interior at all, no motor or transmission. About the only few things the car has going for it are that there is no rust, the front clip is complete, and the glass is still intact but no window trim or bumpers. My next question is what would be a fair price to offer the owner since it basicly is a rolling shell.

Post those pictures he sent you here and then you can get some informed estimates.

Looks to me as though the car has been primered yellow. the question is what is underneath the primer.

I am going to look at the chevelle this coming saturday and trying to get an idea of what would be a realistic price to offer him for the car. As for the primer I have the same question of what is he trying to hide by priming the car and the only way to answer is to go look at the car.

Picture 13 appears to be a large whole in the floor board of the trunk with lots of rust. It just might be the picture however.

4500 is pretty steep. No interior, no drivetrain. no bumpers, no paint. Looks like a lot of money still to be spent just to buy the parts and then you still have to build it. More like 2000 to me.
