i have a 1966 chevelle, and i want to convert it to PS and PB. is there any other cars besides el comeanos that parts will bolt on to the chevelle? thanks

any 64-67 GM a-body I am think 68-72 too but not 100% if it is a direct bolt up deal

ok.... im going to be dumb, but what all is called an A boby? i used to know but its been a wil sence i had to remmeber? thanks

A GM A -body is a Chevy Chevelle, Pontiac GTO/Tempest, Buick F-85/Special, and Olds Clutles.

also don't forget that 67-69 F bodies (Camaro, firebird) and 68-74 X bodies (Nova, Omega, Ventura, Apollo) also share a lot of components, as well.

For the power/disc brake situation, what was stated above is correct. As for the power steering, you'll need a setup from a Chevelle or El Camino that is the same as yours -- small block or big block. Small blocks came with different setups over the years: 66's had the ps pump below the alternator on the drivers side. Later years, 68 & up, I believe had the ps pump in the same spot but the alt. on the passenger side. The length of water pump shaft also is critical as to what brackets you'll need to use for ps. I would suggest doing a lot of research on this or getting the help of someone who has done this before so you don't waste your time and $ having to redo things. Just my two cents.
