I have another question about the 67 Malibu brake booster. Since the booster I tried to install had a rod to the pedal that was too short by about 3/4", I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there were different boosters put in the same model malibu. Ex: some 67's had a 1966 booster put in. If this is the case, would anyone know where I can find info on specifications of the booster, like the size of the rod being different from one year to another, and would the diaphram be different. I am planning on getting a typical booster again, and making an extension for the rod. If I can buy one, I would, but I don't know where else to look for one. I heard that they are available at $48.00, but where, I don't know. I thought about going to the dealer, but in SC, the parts department closes when I am off work, so I can't talk to anyone.
