Very nice! I like how you've painted the b-pillars black to match the window tint, almost didn't catch that :)

What wheels are those? I've been looking around at various wheels to see what might look good on a wagon, I like yours.

Hey blksheep,

Looks very nice. Gives me something to strive for with mine!

What did the sport mirrors come from? Do they interfere with the vent windows? Also 4 wheel disc... was it a kit or sourced form wrecking yards?

Any interior pics?

Cool car!

Thanks for the cudos...............
The 17" wheels are MB brand and are available at discounttiredirect.com. They are chrome, 8"x17" and with 245/45/17 Nitto 555's, fit perfectly. Heres the best part. Mounted,w/ chrome stems, locking lugs and shipping for less that $1,300.00.
Since these pix, I covered the vent window chrome with vinyl film from a sign shop. Just apply and use a heat gun to shrink. Looks like paint and holds up (3years old) real well. The sport mirrors are from a '73-'77 El Camino/Monte. Just be sure to use that base gasket, as it gives the correct angle. Your vent window will open about 75% before touching mirror. No biggy for me, I just flip the air on. The 4wdisc are Wilwood units from Summit. Interior pix to follow..............................

That wagon is HOT. I like wagons, but really like yours. I like the bright trim around the grille, but not across the other horizontal "rungs" of the grill. I want to do that to the front of my Malibu.

I wonder what yours would look like with the A or C pillar blacked out. Did you think about that when you were building it?

Hey, blksheep, NC lets you have 8 characters? That's cool!

Man, I had all kinds of cool ideas for personalized plates for my wagon... but it still has the original blue and gold California plates it got when first registered back in the day... faded but intact!

I guess I won't be getting personalized plates!

Best,
Tom

Thanks for the info on the wheels, that's a great deal :-)

Very cool tip on the vinyl film!
