IM new using POR-15 and heard it will turn a light gray on you if exposed to light so would that apply to the chassis since it underneath the car. Im going to use it on my chassis and wanted to know if im doing the chassis and control arms would i need to use a over coat on them also or not thanks.

I think only direct UV exposure will effect. The undercarriage should be pretty safe. Under the hood would be border line if you open it up at shows all the time, I think.

I did my entire frame and topcoated half of it with their Chassis Coat. The Chassis Coat was such a PITA to work with, I didn't bother doing the whole frame. If you top coat, use something else. Unless you think you can handle the stuff better than I. I'm no painter. smile.gif

It's been 2 years, I think, and nothing looks faded or discolored.
