it will be really bouncy nothing to dampen the recoil.

i know this question sounds stupid but i have seen some guys running around town without front shocks
and was just wondering what the skinny was if any..MH

Have you ever seen a car going down the highway with one or both front wheels just hammering up and down at the slightest bump? Now you know what it's like to drive without shocks installed.

...yeah, "Uncle Buck" is the best description.

what happens when u use 10 90 or 20 80 shocks

They allow the front end to rise easily but come down with more resistance. Using them on the street would result in the front end comming up when you accelerate. Almost like no shock. But it wouldn't bounce like no shock. What happens when you hit a pothole in them? Beats me.

what happens when u use 10 90 or 20 80 shocks We use split dampening shocks on an oval track to get the weight transfer the rear asap. We also use one on the top link from the top of the rear end houseing to the chassis. I see no adavantage to useing them on a street car.

This was a fad in my hometown many years ago. The guys just wanted the cars to move like drag cars, and let the front bounce up and down when they pumped the throttle. Kinda stupid, and dangerous too.
