I put a post on here yesterday but didn't exactly get the answer I was looking for. I am wanting to go look at and hopefully buy these wheels tomorrow. My question is will there be any issues with running a 235/70/15 tire on all four corners of my 72? Just trying to figure out if I will need to spend extra $$$ for a couple of different size tires. They are the original Cragar SS's from back in the day that was all the guy could tell me for the backspace. He has them on a 55 Chevy right now and they look awesome, I'm just a little cautious about how that tire combo will look on my car. Any help will be greatly appreciated, the guys on here are always a big help.

He wasnt sure of the backspacing, all he knew was that the wheels are the original cragars ss from the 70's. My car has not been lowered either.
So maybe a good question is what backspacing would work? He still has the wheels on his car right now so I can measure the backspacing when I go to look at them and see if they will work.

The backspacing depends on the width of the wheel. They are probably 6 or 7" wide. If so a 3.5 to 4" backspace would work. If the wheels are that old I would check them out closly. You don't want bent wheels or out of round bolt holes.

are the wheels universal fit? if so, u may have to but the inserts to fit the bolt pattern.
with the tire size, u sould be safe even with a 4 1/2" backspace.
