Well, I'm thinking that they aren't. BUT, I could have sworn that I had read a post where people had removed the front control arm bushings from their shells and completely lubed everything up. Then they slid them back in their shells for installation. However, I've worn the "search" funtion out and can't find any mention of this. Maybe I dreamed it? graemlins/boring.gif redface.gif

Is this method correct? If so, how do I get them out? If not, then do I need to just install them dry and grease them after they are on? As you can tell, I'm a complete novice to this suspension stuff. Is there any kind of prep for this stuff before I start installation of my new front end? Any help would be greatly appreciated! smile.gif

When you get your set, you'll know. smile.gif

No, they aren't bonded. The poly material will slide out of the shell and the inner sleeve will slide out of that. I took them apart and greased them and put them back together.

A couple of them I couldn't get out of the shell but I think I got the sleeves out so I just greased that. Didn't become a problem.

Stick them in the freezer for several hours and you'll be able to get them out. Also, install them right out of the freezer, it will go easier.

Tim, I've had the kit for a week and just started piddling with them today. I tried a blow dryer to heat them up till.... graemlins/clonk.gif

.....I saw Xtreme's post. I threw them in the freezer, went to work and pulled them out after getting home.

AND....TADAAAAAA! I got ALL of the bushings out of the shells and ALL the sleeves out of the bushings! graemlins/hurray.gif I love it when I can count on you guys to figure it out. :D

NOW, any particular type of grease to use? PST sent just 1 little pack and it won't be enough. Again, thanks for the help! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
