Has anyone bought and installed one of these billet grilles for the 72 Chevelle that Bob's Chevelle's has for sale on their website? If so can you post a picture please.

I purchased this for a '71 and am now in the process of mounting it. I am running into a bit of trouble with fitment. The sides do not extend as far out toward the headlight bezels and it creates quite a gap. Also, it does not extend toward the bumper the way the original does (the original had a lip to the grille that filled in the space between the bottom of the grille and the bumper). I called Bob's and they were no help. I am looking for someone that has mounted one successfully to see if they have pics. I am currently asking Bob's Chevelle to put me in contact with a previous customer so I may get pics. I will post them here if I get any.

Eureka! Here it is, all finished. Grille fits well and looks awesome.

Did it bolt right in, or did it require modifications to fit ?

It bolted right in. At first it concerned me because it started to look like there would be gaps, but after getting it all braced up, there wasn't any problems.

That grill looks far from cheesy to me,

i was pondering the idea of getting one, now with that picture, i want one.
