Hello,

Heres whats up,... We just ordered the KYB Gas Adjust shocks for my brothers Nova. I previously posted pictures of the car which I will try to add to this forum also. We also have a set of 14 inch front Cragar SS rims and 15 inch rear Cragar SS rims mounted on Cooper Cobra Tires. Heres the situation. The rear of the car sags a little bit and there is no way with the springs that are under there, that the rims and tires are going to fit without rubbing. I know that the goal these days always seems to be to lower the car and stiffen the springs. We want to retain performance, but at the same time we need to raise the car. Which direction should we go in? It has the original leaves on the rear,... We can add to them, or we can replace them. Is there any difference in leaf springs or the material there made out of? What should we do,

Dan

What year is the Nova? Mono or multi leaf? If I were you I would replace the leaf springs with a new set. You should call Eaton Spring in Detroit or JC Whitney has a nice 3 leaf spring replacement that would put the Nova back to it's stock height. You would do better to post this at the Team Camaro Forum (http://www.camaros.net/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?) , since Camaro's use leaf springs in the rear.
