Ever since I put new 3.55 gears in my 68 the needle jumps like crazy. I knew the speedometer would be off since I went from 3.08s to 3.55s but I didnt expect the needle to jump and make noise like it does. Anyone have this problem before? Would new speedometer driven gears fix this problem? And if so what #teeth gear would I need for the adjustment?

Some things to check. Maybe confirm its not a cable lube thats needed.
