I need to replace my brake distribution block. It is mounted on the frame. I have front disks with drum rears. It also has the proportioning valve on the brake booster. I cannot find the block anywhere. I've also heard that a 71 block will work and I will not need the valve on the booster but I just purchased new brake lines for my current setup. Would these lines work with the 71 block? BTW..this is on a 68SS Chevelle.

just bought one from gmpartsdirect.com. It's a combination valve that does everything. Part # 1257177.

Thanks for the info! Were you able to use the original brake lines?

can't use the brake lines with the combination valve, should have the distribution block used you need.
