Some insite on this Question. I put in new shocks for the rear of 70 Chevelle,Gabriel Shocks.Just plain replacment gas ones.Comes with lower mount to diff,torque for this is 65ft lbs put in lower part of shock,washer, nut to hold shock on mount. what is the torque value?Is it 65 also.Seems would smash rubber bushing and no movement on shock.I know the orginal sprial shock has only the mount bolt to diff to tighten,but all replacment shocks have this set up with 2 washers and nuts to tighten.thanks Dave.
