Sam, looking good:thumbsup:,your way ahead of my vert project. What rims do you plan on using? Do you need a set, What happened to the gloss black frame? Ed

Hi Ed , Have no idea yet what type of rims are going on it , But probably some kind of mag wheel. Got to ask the girls what they will like cause they will be driving it. I painted the frame cast so it would be different, everybody usually goes with black and I wanted it to be different. Have to wait an see how it looks when it's all together. What kind of extra wheels do u have ? Also has disc brakes on it so I'll have to watch what type of wheel can go on it .

John, Actually I got the car from a customer of mine. He was the second owner and he used back when he went to college. He stuck it in his garage he tells me at least 30 years ago and there it sat waiting for him to restore it. He finally realized that he wasn't going to do it and knowing that I would restore it and take care of it he sold to me . Of course it's been off the frame and I had to replace the trunk floor , the floor pans and both 1/4 panels. It's taking me a litttle longer than I expected to finish but hofefully I'll be able to work on it more in the comming months. I'll try to attach some links of before Pictures. and try to keep the pictures comming as I progress on it. Thanks for asking about the car.

Excellent work. I'm can't wait to see the car painted. I was considering the same color on my 68 vert. You beat me to it!

Ed, I really thought that I would have it done by now but with the turn in the economy I haven't been able to take as much "mad money" to purchase the things I need so I really don't know when it's going to be completed. I sure would like to have the girls in it this summer but time will tell. As far as the frame I tried a new companies paint , I kind of like it but I just need to see what it looks like when it's all together. Hey if I don't like it it will be back to the shop to get sprayed black. I've done dummer things .

Pat, I have always loved that color and to tell you the truth I experimented with putting silver metal flakes in it . At first I didn't have enough in it then I put to much in it and it just didn't flow correctly so I went back to the original formula.
