There is a very strange "clunking" noise coming from my 66 when it is moving. I thought it was the driveline (U-joints, rear end, axles, etc), but everything seems to be OK there. I then thought it might be the front suspension, but I haven't had the time to really get under it and check.
Does anyone know a place in Los Angeles (Westside, near LAX) that might be able to figure this out? I'm looking to get it repaired ASAP because I want(need) to sell the car. I cannot sell it with this noise and potential problem for anywhere near the market value so this is pretty important. Is anyone familiar with a shop in the West LA/ Santa Monica area just north of the 10 by Bundy? I forget the name of this place, and would certainly welcome any additional suggestions.
