please excuse this as I am new to 1967 Chevelles- will a 1968 12 bolt fit correctly into a 1967? I remember reading somewhere only 64- 67 are interchangable and 68- 72 based on length from backing plate to backing plate as well as the angle of the upper trailing arm mount. Is this correct or am I completely out of my mind. Thanks in advance

A 68-72 12 Bolt will fit, but will be 1 Inch wider than a 65-67 12 Bolt.
