I installed the stainless steel brakes Electric vacuum pump kit about a month ago in my truck.
the truck is a 68 gmc k2500 (3/4 ton long bed) 402 bbc, this is a heavy truck I had less then 10" of vacuume at idle, at low rpm's ie parking lots I had almost no brakes
I was debating over hydroboost and an electric pump, the pump won because in the event of a stall (off roading) the assist would still work
well the kit works great and easy to install (had a problem locating an inline one way check valve for it so I ended up useing it in combo with a vac res.) one draw back I found was the kit uses 1/2" line (3/8 for everything else in the system)
all in all I give the kit a two thumbs up
