Gonna go with one or the other. The Hotchkis looks beefer and is a few bucks more. Has anyone had problems with the Hotchkis braces interfering with exhaust? Are the Edelbrock braces just as rigid? The Edelbrock's look a little wimmpy as far as the mounting flanges go, however they look as though they may have less of a clearence problem. Anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

I have a complete hotchkis rear setup in my 66 and I love it. I have autocrossed the car and drag raced it and its awesome. As fas as the exhaust goes I did have some interference issues with the braces. I had to kick my mufflers up at a 45 degree angle and even so its right on the end of the bolt and it rattles off the bolt and has made a dent in it and its kinda annoying sounding.

The Edelbrock pieces allow more muffler clearance than the Hotchkis pieces. I run the Edelbrocks myself, no issues. The flanges on them are about 3/16" thick, which is plenty given the method they are loaded in and attach to the vehicle.

I have the complete Hotchkis kit on my 66 and I like it as well. However, the end of the connection brace bolt is right up against the Flowmaster mufflers. I haven't worn any holes in my mufflers or anything, nor do I hear any rattling or squeaking. But then again, the exhaust was installed before the Hothkis kit was. I would go Hotchkis, they look to be a bit stronger.
