YOU BETCHA. There are no left and right springs, but there is an up and down. The flat part of the spring goes up and the rounded end on the spring goes down and buts in the grove of the lower control arm. When compressing the springs (if you are not getting them bound) place the compressing hooks of the spring compressor opposite each other at the third rung from the top and the third rung from the bottom. This will give you maximum "squeeze" on the spring without the risk of getting the spring compressor stuck between the lower rungs at either ends of the spring when you release the tension. By placing the hooks of the spring compressor opposite each other i.e one pair of the hooks facing at 9 and 3 o'clock and the other pair of hooks facing at 12 and 6 o'clock will enable you to get compression of the spring with out distorting the shape. (if the spring is not compressed uniformly it will bow out to one side and may make it impossible to get in without jumping out of the upper pocket) Once the spring is compressed put the threaded bolt of the spring compressor through the center hole in the frame (the hole the front shock bolts into) positioning the spring in the upper pocket and then bring the lower control arm up via a floor jack until the lower ball joint threaded stud passes through the mounting hole of the upper ball joint. Now would be a good time to make sure that the bottom of the spring is butted with the grove at the bottom, if it is not position it nowso that it is so. Put the castle nut on now but don't fully tighten. Now look up in the pocket of the frame to make sure that the spring is in the pocket of the frame. If it is tighten the castle nut so the spring won't move when you start releasing the spring compressor. Good luck. P.S it is always good to have a second person work the floor jack for people that are doing this for the fist time, and make sure that the threaded rod passes through the hole in the frame and the spring is IN THE POCKET AT THE TOP AND ALIGNED WITH THE BUTT GROVE OF THE LOWER CONTROL ARM AT THE BOTTOM, and you will be all right.
