Picked up my headers yesterday from the ceramic coater. Overall, I am happy with the results. I had them done at New Image Coatings in Lino Lakes, MN for anyone looking for a coater in the Minneapolis area. They also do colored powdercoating as well. This finish is called Cerma Chrome. Here are some before and after pics.

Just curious, what they charged you for that. Looks really nice.

Nice.

Any kind of work to the inside of the pipes (dont know if this can be done so curious) or is that exterior only?

Price was $25 to sand blast them to bare metal, then $200 for the coating. It is applied the same as any powdercoating, so it does coat the inside as well. After baking, they go into a polisher which is a large vibrating tank with small beads and a compound, so it does polish the inside too.

These are Hedmans that would be $350-$400 if I bought them new, and I knew these fit, so I thought it was cost effective.

That's how I intend to do mine. I figure it's smart to be sure they fit before shelling out the bucks for the coating. I know some guys have said they've dimpled their coated headers for clearance without problems but I'd rather not risk it.
I see yours are 68190's (1 3/4"). I'm using the 65002's (2").

Im in the Minneapolis area and have been looking for a powdercoater. Those guys in Lino Lakes have been at several car shows in the past and thier work does look good in person.
