If I lower my 70 am I likely to need more or less shims for the front end alignment? Right now it is at stock hieght (maybe a little higher) with new replacement TRW big block springs. There are no shims on one side and one very thin one on the other side. The tires wear perfect right now, no wear showing at all after 10,000 miles. Will I be all right with shorter or softer springs or will I run out of adjustment?
Thanks.

if you lower the car you will most likely need to add shims to retain the correct alignment specs.

the tires should go IN AT THE TOP as you lower it. I believe that you will need to REMOVE shims to correct this problem. I know that MOOG chassis parts makes an offset upper control arm. This piece, when installed correctly will allow you to adjust the front end.
