I want to replace both the front and rear springs on my 72 Chevelle convertible. Can anyone give me the correct Moog part numbers. Here's the specifics:
1972 Chevelle SS convertible, 454 engine, TH400 auto trans. With A/C. Has F-41 suspension.
I want to restore the car to the stock ride height. Not interested in raising or lowering, although I understand that the ride height will change from what it is now, with 31 year old springs.
I also know to replace the insulators for the rear springs.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Looks like Moog 5450's in front. This chart also says 5413's for the rear, but after doing lots more reading and searching, it looks like Moog CC501's in the rear are the more popular choice.
I would like to know what the difference would be between the 5413's and the CC501's in the rear...
Thanks for the info...

I guess the other wrinkle is the fact that I don't currently have the A/C installed. Car had factory A/C, and I plan to re-install someday. But no A/C right now. According to the chart, A/C adds 100 pounds. I find that a little hard to believe, but whatever.
I guess my front may ride a little high at first, w/ new springs and no A/C...

I know the cc501's are a cargo spring. I assume they are for heavy stuff in the trunk. Thats what I have currently in my Monte. They should also provide better handling.

Springs are in, and I love them. Moog 5450's in front, and CC501's in back. Ride height looks good to me, and they make a huge difference in the ride quality.
I guess 31 year old small block springs with a cheesy spacer in a big block car weren't the best setup graemlins/clonk.gif
I'll be adding pictures to my website today...
