I just purchased a fairly nice 66 chevelle convertible, knowing that it would need some frame work. After closer inspection, the frame was a little worse then I thought, but I'm still excited to have the new car. I do have an opportunity to buy a very nice 66 skylark Convertible frame, but I'm not sure if it is totally interchangable with the chevelle. Can anyone help?

You don't have your location posted, but Sundells parts out Chevelles and could possibly have a frame for you. The conv frames are fully boxed from the front frame horn to past the rear where it goes over the axle. El Caminos are also boxed and would need to be shortened to work and I think up to 66 will interchange.
