Just picked up an original under dash Delco 8 track for my 67.

Does anyone here know who might repair/rebuild these.

The case looks to be in decent shape but there are some springs that fell out of the tape door when I opened it.

Also need the dash mounting bracket or alternate way to attach it to dash.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

There is a book by Delco called "Radio Service Manual". Delco put one out every year. I see them on eBay often. I don't think they are reprinted.

This one is $50 but they can go for as little as $15.

Thanks, I think that book may answer my installation questions. I'll look for one closer to the $15.00 price.

Still need to find a source to rebuild the tape mechanism though.

I'd highly recommend purchasing that 1967 Delco radio book. I bought the 69 book when I was working on my '69 Chevelle eight track player for $25. This book has schematics, blow up pics how the parts go together and even part numbers. Believe it or not, these parts do come up on ebay or are quite helpful when contacting people that repair these units. If you can give them a part number, its alot easier than trying describe it and they go look in some box for it. Good Luck!
