I sent my power steering gearbox out to get re-built.

Question - I have three options: Rebuilt to stock standard ratio, upgrade to a fast ratio, or go with fast ratio and change the road feel through the addition of internal components.

In any case, I understand the external appearance, including the BB rag joint, will remain the same.

I am restoring the car to as near factory stock appearing as possible.

Recommendations?

Fast ratio and stock turning radius. Include the better-road-feel stuff.

You won't push the gas pedal to the floor every time you drive the car.

You won't stand on the brake pedal every time you drive the car.

You WILL hold onto the steering wheel every time you drive the car. Might as well get all the sensory feedback and satisfaction possible.
