I've been shopping around for a bit now, and this one has jumped to the top of my list. I'm still new to this and hope the knowledgeable people on this board can help me yet again.

The car is a 1972 Chevelle SS (Clone) Convertible

What would a fair price for this car be?
Any "show-stoppers" that I should be concerned about?

Take some advice from a hard lesson learned. Inspect the car in person. I bought a car from just seeing photos and it was not as advertised.

That being said this looks like a fairly clean car. I would say it could proabably sell for just over $20k. 72s tend not to bring big money unless they are "w" cars.

I've watched that dealer's site for several years and they have some nice appearing cars that go through there. As stated above get together with an inspector and let him know your parameters. Some of the cars I've seen there were rough but that's probably reflected in the price.....

The first sign that its overpriced is that its at a dealer. That goes with any car.

I think the important thing here is what are they asking for this car? Definately inspect in person or have someone you trust inspect in person.

I totally agree...Hiring someone to inspect it first will for sure be my plan. Before I do that I want make sure the selling price is at least grounded in reality so i'm not wasting my time/money.

The seller just posted a new ad with a reduced price of $25,000

If the car is as advertised, is that price in the right ballpark??

Thanks

I would agree with this. $20K would be my guess as well.
