I don't have access to a rotisserrie, but I do have a tractor. How could I hang my body, so that I can sandblast the bottom ? Are there any "bolt" locations that would hold the weight ? I have no idea of how much the body weighs. Would the firewall hold it if I were to put a hole through it and use strut across the firewall ? Any other ideas ????
My thought for taking the body off the frame is to place a 2x12 through the cab, withot the doors, and lift off with a tractor. Will this harm the roof lifting it off this way ?

First off I have no idea what year you have. Here's my 70 hanging. I used the back seat belt bolts and in the front the lower bolt where the inner fender attaches. You could use where the hood hinge attaches or the rear bumper also,

I just got my 70 Chevelle and I am going to remove the body from the frame. The body is pretty solid, it does need a trunk pan, trunk lid, and rocker panels for sure. The floor pan is in great shape,...

You can build a couple "L" brackets (2 x 2 x 1/4)that bolt on the frame points and flip it on it's side.

Thanks, I will fill out my profile...
67shovel - I don't understand, do you mean 2" x 2" steel, and lay the "L" out under the body ?
The strap idea is something I can do.

You run the tubing across the belly and up vertically along the side. Then pivot upright on the angle vertex. 2 guys can do it. Somewhere on here there are pics of it.

If you can pick it straight up from what ever points you pick it, you won't be pulling in on the body.
Heres this from a while back. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303780&highlight=body+lift
