How tight should upper a-arm bushing bolts be.

cheveslakr Mar 2nd, 10, 9:12 PM Use thread lock on those. Bottom them out and torque according to 5/16 bolt specs. I'm not sure of that spec but it should be easy to find. I had one back out on the pass side and the upper arm shifted rearward almost far enough to pop off, pretty scarey stuff. :( Jerry Just looked it up and believe it's 33lbs. - 5/16" x 24, cap screw. In the torque specifications for the front end I think they are called collar bolts... 45ft lbs. Also, the manual mentions tightening suspension pivot bolts after spring installation.
