I just read the post on the 72 with 10 inch rims. Will 15 x 10 inch rallys work on the back of a 72 El Camino and will you need 5 inch backspacing also? Any one done this? thanks, my son wants to try 10's in the back on his El Camino.

Thanks, I hadn't noticed this before. Do youknow if this requires you to roll the lip on the fender?

It should clear fine. If you're worried, increase the backspace to 5.75" This will give you additional fender to tire clearance. These wheel wells can take backspaces up to 6.25" easily.

Thanks. Looking at your car domain page. Do you own a 57 Nomad also? Man I love those cars. I have talked to you before about the brown color on the interior of your Monte Carlo. My other son put bucket seats in his 70 monte carlo and it was a dark saddle color (which is 72 like his interior) . You have quite a collection of nice cars.

The Nomad belongs to my dad it also has 15x10 wheels under it those rims started out with a 5" backspacing then dad added another 1" of backspacing to give him 6" total.
