I hear it does more damage than good to use them. Trapping dirt in, instead of keeping it out. Maybe it depends on the shock. I just bought gas-a-just KYB's for the rear, there different than I usually use. There not a "full body shock" theres the bigger half that drives into the thinner half, these didnt come with boots, should I put some on?

Your descriptions of various parts of your car crack me up,keep up the good work. :D
The upper part of the shock is the shield,so no shock boots are needed. I just install them as they come out the box.Besides,your not planning on taking it to the Baja 500, are you ?
