any one using a after market 356-T6 aluminum cover on there 70 chevelle 12 bolt. I'm wanting to know if this cover clears the stock gas tank. The use greatly reduce the amount of ring gear deflection and therefore, your gears last longer. More for racing but I'm building a 650hp BB and will race it about 3 times a year. This is not a tubbed car

T/A Performance makes a standard cover and a short cover to clear things like transverse mufflers, gas tanks and sway bars.

I've got a T/A cover on my 69' 12 bolt. Looks great, no problems.
